We can help you resolve disputes outside of court.
When you get into a dispute with another party, you may assume that the only way to solve the issue is to go to court. Although the court system is designed to resolve disputes, there are alternative forms of dispute resolution you can take advantage of.
One form of dispute resolution that you may benefit from is known as mediation. During mediation, you and the other party sit down with a neutral third party to discuss your issues and attempt to work towards a resolution. The mediator guides the discussion and ensures the process is constructive, but does not make a final decision on the issue. Instead, you and the other party determine how to compromise and resolve the issue.
In many cases, the court will require that you engage in mediation prior to taking your case to court. If mediation does not provide results, then your case may proceed through the court system. Your participation in mediation in no way affects the merits or your case if you choose to proceed with litigation.
